We are so excited and counting down the days until the season finale of our favorite show. It is kind of bittersweet, because what will keep us up so late on Thursday nights after it is over. The brilliant writers always leave us with a cliffhanger and 5-6 months to hypothesise what will happen next. Brandon and I always talk about what will happen next, and he is good about remembering characters and events from the past...then I rehash the episode again with my sister Shae (who also has a great memory, and can piece events together very well). I always have questions....and love that aspect of the show. Feel free to answer any of mine:
Why did they choose to save baby Aaron? Will he be special at all because he was born on the island? (I love that Jack just found out that Claire is his half sister)
Is Jack's dad really dead?
Who's funeral was Jack at during last years episode?
Is Claire really dead?
Why doesn't the old Dharma leader (the one who came to young John Locke) ever age?
***Can't wait until Thurs. Bust out the popcorn, candy and soda!!

I am so excited too and I have the same questions!! What is with that guy who doesn't age? He was also the "other" who was with Ben as a kid.
Before you read any further - beware, this is going to be a spoiler. I used to work at a TV station, so I have lots of connections... (Insert maniacal laughter here).
Why did they choose to save baby Aaron?
- In the season finale we will learn that baby Aaron is the son of the guy Kate was going to marry. Kate discovers this after stumbling upon the cabin and talking to Claire there. Claire doesn't make it off the island (see below), so Kate takes on the responsibility to raise Aaron.
Will he be special at all because he was born on the island?
Nope.
Is Jack's dad really dead?
Yes.
Who's funeral was Jack at during last years episode?
Jack was at Hurley's funeral. The season finale will return to this scene in the second half of the show. Kate visits Hurley to find out why Jack sits outside of the mental hospital, Kate thinks Hurley is crazy. Hurley finally decides to go back to the island and his plane explodes over the ocean just after take off; His body will not be recovered (I'm sure he'll be back next season for flash backs though if he is actually dead). Why wasn't any one at his funeral? Good question - I hope they explain it eventually, because I would expect his family to show up.
Is Claire really dead?
Claire doesn't die in the season finale, but won't leave her father and the cabin (because she is nuts if you ask me).
Why doesn't the old Dharma leader (the one who came to young John Locke) ever age?
He is a robot - for the most part. When his hand is cut off during Lock's flash back in the first half, you'll see the exposed wiring and mechanics. In the flash forward in the second half, you'll see one of the other's replace his artificial leg after Sawyer shots it. Looks like he's related to Darth.
Ok, I made all that up.

"Okay Glen...you had me debating ALL day. I kept thinking, "no, it couldn't be Hurley...ageless man never got his hand cut off...he is not a robot!" The finale didn't disappoint:) Thank goodness it wasn't Hurley in the coffin!"
Glad I could make your day more interesting (Muhahahaha). Aimee and I still have to watch the finale - we have some friends in town from Idaho, so we didn't see it last night.
LOL, this is about how excited we are for when the show The Unit comes back...we'll be busting out the popcorn then.
How was LOST by the way??
