Lounging!

We don't watch much TV in our home and here is why!  I walk into the room and Emery has crawled onto the bean bag just to zone into the tube!  When she saw I was watching she turned to me and smiled and then returned back to her program:)  I laughed so hard at this little ball of personality!

A month of "Sick"

GERMS!!!  I have never been a germophob until this week!  I am so sick of my kids being sick!!  After Thanksgiving both my kids came down the croup.  Seth even had problems breathing at night so we had to give him steroid drops.  The croup eventually turned into a nasty cough that just wouldn't go away!  Brandon and I even got this cough.  Week after week...we actually thought we might have this forever.  After 4 weeks of coughing we all got the flu...seriously? AND THEN, just before Christmas Emery got pink eye!  SERIOUSLY?  I can't tell you how much we all wanted to be well for Christmas so we could go home guilt free and see family!  We were all actually healthy for Christmas and the New Year.  I am so thankful for that.  Now home, unpacked, and back in our routine I got ready to drop Seth off at preschool and he came down with a 103.5 fever!  SERIOUSLY?  Emery now has a nasty little cough again...SERIOUSLY!

We are now on a huge hand washing, kick in our home.  My whole home smells like Lysol!  I'm so done with being sick!

Tradition!

The Holiday Season is all about tradition for me!  I love the traditions we have created with friends in Southern California.

Making failed gingerbread houses
A trip to The Grove and Maggianos

A Sunday walk in Sleepy Hollow (Torrance) to look at the Christmas Lights, always wishing we has thought to bring Hot Chocolate (3 years and have yet to learn...)

Crashing the Meadow's Apartments' Christmas Party because they have the best Santa Around (although we skipped this year due to sick kids)
Disneyland to enjoy the fake Snow that can nearly bring me to tears after the firework show (don't even try to tell me I'm lame!)

TRADITION!
