4th festivities!

What could be better than being with good friends and going to the beach, having a bbq, then watching a rocking firework show at Culver High?  We had an absolutly great day.  The beach started off overcast but then cleared to a gorgeous day.  Seth LOVES the water and the beach.  He and Paige played to their heart's content in the water and sand!

Brittany got several of us girls in the water to boogie board.  I was totally dragging my feet, but it ended up being SO fun, despite the fact that it was cold (the sun had not yet burned off the marine layer).

Seth and Paige got their first Capri Sun drinks from a group of people who were set up next to our area.  They sure loved their sugar water:)

There was a helicopter that rode by with a man hanging down from it.  The man waved as he passed.  Everyone stopped to watch, thinking it was some sort of rescue, until we realized that it was a GI Joe ad...which was very effective, btw.

After having a BBQ dinner we headed to Culver High.  We had prime seats for the fireworks.  Seth and Paige danced and danced to the live music.  They were loving life on this fun filled day! (as were we:)

Brittany brought glow necklaces/bracelets for the kids.  

All in all it was a great day!
