Sea World

I have been feeling the need for some recreation so this weekend we took a spontaneous trip to Sea World. We drove to San Diego Friday night and stayed the night. Seth graced us with a 6:10 wake up call so we got breakfast, checked out and headed to Sea World. It was great to spend all day having fun. Seth and Paige were so happy for most the day, even though they woke up early and hardly napped. They loved Shamu and playing in the water! I love watching them have fun and showing them new things. It provides for fun discussions with Seth. His vocabulary and ability to talk in part sentences is growing by leaps and bounds.

Seth waved bye to Shamu at the end and said "I love you Shamu" (okay, he was prompted, but he still said it)
Killer whales leaping to dramatic music OR streams water shooting out of the ground. I think Seth would say the second is the best part! Simple entertainment:)

Chad and Brandon taught the little ones to put their hands up on rides as they went around. They were so giddy the whole ride!

Sesame Street's 4-D experience...Seth kept his glasses on for most of it. In the middle he even reached his hand out to see if he could touch the characters that came close to our faces.
Brandon and Chad went on the water ride. I wussed out and just watched, but that didn't stop Britt and I from shooting them with the water cannon from dry land! Watch how Chad is ducking for cover!

Our passes allow us to go one more time before 2009 ends... I think that one is a no brainer. Anyone up for trip #2??
