My Baby Boy!

Seth is now in preschool! I can hardly believe it. He is turning three this month. Gosh it feels so early to send him to preschool. It was actually a hard decision to make to send him this early, but ultimatly, we felt that it was best for him to be around other kids on his own. It is twice a week for 2.5 hours. He has done such a good job at adapting. I even think that he is making friends, which is HUGE for him since he is so shy when he is on his own. His first day he was timid and said he missed me so much. I dropped him off at school and waved goodbye. It surprised me how hard it was for ME! I always thought people were a bit dramatic about their feelings about sending their babies to school. I totally get it. I came home to a quiet house with Emery. She and I both were in a funk. It was very apparent that Seth is the energy and heartbeat of our home (Emery is too, but she is so tiny and low maintenance still:). Having him gone made me think of what a wonderful kid he is and how having him around makes me so happy. Emery and I have adjusted though, and I am grateful for the one on one time I now get to spend with just her. It is a sweet time for us. Seth enjoys preschool and is, by far, the dirtiest kid in his class when I go to pick him up. I have to scrub his hands and change his clothes almost every time. He plays hard!! I am happy for him and and my heart is full thinking of how he is growing up so fast. He makes our house so happy and full of life!

On our way to his first day of school we found a lizard on our porch. It made for an exciting morning!
His cubby! How cute is that:)

I can't believe Seth is almost 3! I will be sad too when Kylie goes to preschool in another year plus.
