An update through pics of Seth

I have noticed, as I was wanting to do a post of our past few weeks or so, that I have no pictures documenting what Brandon and I have been doing.  All our pictures focus on Seth (he is probably nicer to look at anyway:).  For that reason I'll proceed to give an update on our lives, using pics we have taken of Seth the superstar.  On a side note, this kid is a total ham for the camera.  He always will turn to you and say CHEESE!!!

When the days were sunnier, Brittany and I took the kids to an area in Playa Vista that has shooting water.  It is fenced in and the kids run wild.  This was the perfect place, considering how obsessed with water Seth is!   I can't wait to go back....if we ever get rid of this June gloom.
I've been trying to find new ways to entertain Seth during the day, and the backyard is what we mostly resort to.  We draw with chalk, play basketball (well, I do), push him on the choo choo train, or do ring around the rosies....hundreds of times.  Sometimes Seth will just walk around aimlessly looking for "woks" (rocks).  He loves rocks.  He even lays on his tummy and reaches under the fence to the dog run in order to reach the gravel on the other side.  His new obsession is sticks.  Having a backyard is wonderful for him...and me:)

Over Memorial Day weekend we played and played.  Friday we had a game night, Saturday we did Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles and had a movie night, Sunday we had two couples over for dinner, Monday we had a BBQ then a girls night out to the movies!  This next pic documents our trip to Roscoe's.  I brought an apple for seth and he insisted eating it off of a fork!
No real story her.  I just think that Seth looks like a little Jedi!  He is in Brandon's T-shirt and is flexing his muscles.

Last week, the Erickson's and our family went to Pinkberry for dessert.  The kids went in their jammies.  While we were there we ran into some firemen who gave each of the kids their own hat!
Every day, one week, Seth would run to the front door at any sound of a car, thinking it was his daddy coming home from work.  There were many false alarms, but when it was the real deal, Seth would run out the door screaming and bang on the card door before Brandon could even get out.  Sometimes Brandon would let him in the car to "drive."
