Since my last appointment, my doctor has told me to "take it easy," to avoid any complications with the baby since the placenta is low lying and there have been a few scares. This is only a temporary order (although still hard to follow.) To be completely honest, I have not been the best at following it to the T since there are things during the day that require lifting/chasing:) However, because of my new, more sedentary life, I have had to find more ways to keep Seth and I occupied.
making cookies
building block towers
coloring
playdough
tunnels and couch cushion jumping
playing with the train
rolling canned food across the kitchen (actually, he does this w/o me, or my permission:)
I miss exercise more than I can say. I had no idea how much it really affects my mood, even a simple walk. I can't wait until my next appointment to see if she clears me to do more, especially since this is a crazy work month for Brandon.

yes, take it easy!
Jenika, what can I do?? Seth could come play or we could come keep you company....or I can make you dinner:) Let me know SERIOUSLY!!
Oh it is nothing that needs any doing for. Thanks Anita. I am feeling just fine. I really appreciate all you do already. I am just missing my old more physically active life. I have an appt. in a little over a week and will hear if I can do that stuff again. Until then, I am just kind of listening to my body and when I feel like I am over doing it I rest.
I love the picture of Seth making cookies!! So cute!!
What???!!! Where have I been, I didn't know you were preggers. Congrats! When are you due, how are you feeling. This is awesome news!! Please keep us posted on that growing tummy for sure.
I hear ya. I hated "taking it easy" cause in a way it's actually more work.
