Here is what we know about her so far:
She was born Feb. 23, 2010 and was 7lbs. 7 oz. with chubby cheeks and a full head of hair.
She grows fast. She regained her birthweight in 4 days:)
She sleeps through the night at least 3 times a week and the other nights only wakes up once.
She is a cuddler and loves to sleep in someone's arms or right next to someone
She rarely cries and when she does it is just a few peeps to remind us that she is here (it is a very feminine cry:). She is very consolable.
She has always been very alert.
She smiled for the first time at 3 weeks (and no it was not just gas). My mom was holding her and I walked up to her. She smiled and started kicking:)
Here is her first few weeks in our family:
Between contractions and pre c-section.

Here she is at 6:00 pm and after laboring all day to no avail.

I'm loving life on morphine and under a warm blanket. She had just eaten for the first time.
I had the perfect homecoming. Nana, Kristen and Seth made a sign, hung balloons and made a cake. We had a nice ham dinner that night. It was a perfect day!

Brandon adores her. I love seeing him with a baby girl.
My two kids. I still can't believe I can say that! Seth came to visit two times in the hospital. He was so gentle with her. He was timid while holding her, but gave her plenty of kisses. (This changed when we got home. He was more stand offish at home).
Kisses from Seth. He was seriously so gentle with her.
Her going home outfit!
Getting out of the hospital. I had mixed feelings. I wanted to go home to be with Seth, but I got so much rest in the hospital. Yes, we did send her to the nursery at night...we were much smarter the second time around:)
Making Emery's cake ( that she didn't get to eat! Mommy did!)
Seth came running up to the car as we pulled in. It was so exciting to come home!
See how much she has grown. She is so sweet!
She has been an on the go baby (like I said...she is so accommodating. I don't hesitate taking her places because I know that she is not a handful. It will be interesting to watch her grow!
She loves watching Seth. He is adjusting so much better to her. I think this picture is hilarious. It almost looks like she is going to snag his toy.

I love it!! She really is such a good baby. Carson may not be the best example!! Hopefully emery will rub off on him.
lovely round-up of pics Jenika! She sounds like a dream baby! I'm so happy for you and your family!
darling little girl.
So fun to see all the pictures and hear about little Emery. I'm glad Seth is getting better with everything. It takes time, and I'm not sure if they ever get over being #1! Her hair is darling and it is a lot of fun to dress up a girl :) It sounds like she's a good sleeper. What a dream! Take care!
She's so beautiful...I guess c-section is the way to go! You look great, as always! Congrats, again!
I can't believe how much she looks like Seth! She's a beautiful baby and you dress you so cute. You look amazing! I cannot believe you just had a baby. Please let me know how you keep looking so great. I'm serious I want some tips (when you get time, being a new mom is all consuming).
What a beautiful family. I'm glad things are going so well. Ah, there is something so special about a new baby. I can see you are enjoying her!
This was so fun to read and look at. I can't help but just imagine my own family's transition from 1 to 2 in two months! If Taya struggles with the adjustment a lot, I will just remind myself that it takes time and will get better :)
Emery is really a pretty baby, very girly - I love her name & you're just getting me that much more excited for another little girl!
