First Born...

My baby boy is now a 4 year old boy!!  Instead of celebrating his birthday with a birthday party, we decided to take him to Legoland with one of his friends (and later on to Scooter's Jungle with Paige).  Caleb and Seth had so much fun just being boys, looking at dinosaurs, riding rides, building legos and later in the evening Trick or Treating.  I have to say, Legoland was fun, but their Halloween celebration and trick or treating rocked.  

Posting these pictures makes me simultaneously  ask myself, "can it really be 4 years?"  and "he has only been with us 4 years?"   I can't believe I am a mom of such sweet kid.  Seth doen't have a mean bone in his body.  He cares for everyone and is always thinking of others.  He is a "thinker!"  His mind is so sharp and quick he keeps me on my toes.  His vocabulary is amazing and he is very good at logic.  When placed in a group or a new setting, he takes a while to warm up, take in his scene, then he plays.  I don't know how I got so lucky to be his mom.  I love watching him develop and I am excited to see who he will become!  My heart is full...
